THERMAL SUIT WITH EASY OPENING AND CLOSING SYSTEM THAT MAINTAINS INDIVIDUAL BALANCE IN THE WATER AND PROTECTS AGAINST IMPACTS AND ABRASIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH PHYSICAL OR PSYCHIC DIFFICULTIES DURING AQUATIC REHABILITATION.
- Easy to put on (1 person).
- Thermal protection (rehabilitation duration increases by 4 times).
- Buoyancy (maintains individual balance).
- Protection against impacts and abrasions.
TARGET PATIENT
Individuals with difficulty controlling body mobility or neurological injuries such as hemiplegics, paraplegics, quadriplegics, and those with cerebral palsy.
Individuals with disabilities are the primary candidates to use this type of suit:
- When in water, their body is freed from the physical constraints of paralysis and they enjoy weightlessness. Water is one of the most suitable mediums for rehabilitation and physical maintenance for disabled individuals.
The use of a thermal suit is crucial because they do not move enough in the water to generate heat, and body temperature rapidly decreases.
With the neoprene suit, we can maintain body heat for longer periods, allowing them to perform rehabilitation exercises without having to suspend them immediately due to trembling caused by the cold.
- Neoprene provides great protection against impacts and abrasions, especially for individuals with disabilities who do not control their body movements well, making them much more vulnerable to injuries.
- The body is balanced thanks to the positive buoyancy of neoprene and the negative buoyancy of individually distributed weights, helping us keep the person in the proper position in the water for their rehabilitation.
- It also includes a floating collar to keep the head above water for those who need it.
All these features allow these individuals to free themselves from their bodies, floating in the water, enjoying the moment, and helping both caregivers and rehabilitation professionals by facilitating their work in the pool.
In this way, these individuals can be easily supported by another person.
